Hello My Name Is...

I am one of the Parent Liaison Coordinator at Main Street Elementary, as well as, a Reading Intervention Assistant for grades 3rd through 5th.  During this time out of school, I will call and check on students, make sure their needs are met, and most of all, listen, communicate, encourage, and make them feel loved and appreciated while away from Main Street.   

As a Reading Intervention Assistant, I work with a set group of students from 3rd through 5th grade using Head Sprout an online reading program.  This program helps me identify problems and make corrective actions to assist students in being successful.  I will call each of my students and give them access to this system.  The students will be required (if they have the internet) to do an episode a day and practice.  Their participation will provide me with information which I will use to conference with the student during our daily chat.
